Cancellation Policy

Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy Reservations & Payment All tours and enrichment experiences are by appointment only and require advance booking. Full payment is required at the time of reservation to secure your spot. Due to the limited nature of our small-group experiences, availability is reserved specifically for your visit. Cancellation Policy Because each experience is carefully planned and prepared in advance for both guests and the well-being of our rescued primates: 7+ days before your scheduled visit: Eligible for a full refund or reschedule. 3–6 days before your visit: Eligible for a one-time reschedule or sanctuary credit. Less than 72 hours before your visit: No refunds will be issued. No-shows or missed appointments are non-refundable. Rain Checks & Weather Policy The safety and comfort of our guests and primates always comes first. Tours may continue during light rain; however, in cases of severe weather, unsafe conditions, excessive heat, storms, or sanctuary closures, Gulf Coast Primate Sanctuary may reschedule your visit. If we cancel due to weather or safety concerns, guests will receive: ✔ A rain check/rescheduled date ✔ A sanctuary credit for future booking ✔ A full refund if rescheduling is not possible Rain checks do not expire for 12 months from the original booking date. Refund Policy As a nonprofit sanctuary, all bookings directly support food, enrichment, habitat care, and veterinary needs for rescued primates. Refunds are only issued according to the cancellation policy above or if the sanctuary cancels the experience and rescheduling cannot be accommodated. Guest Responsibility Guests who arrive late may receive a shortened experience, as tours operate on a schedule for animal care and enrichment routines.
